I feel kind of silly doing this but I really have NO MORE OPTIONS. My unemployment benefits have run out and my savings is just about depleted. I lost my car to repossession a couple weeks ago, rent is due, the electric is due and I find myself having to eat ramen noodles several times a week. I’m going on 3 interviews a week but I can’t even land a job at McDonalds. Now that my car is gone my options are really limited to seeking positions that are near public transportation and those are few and far between. I desperately need a car. I can get a semi-reliable used car for about $2500 but unfortunately I’m about $2100 short. So, if you can find it in your means to lend me a hand and make a donation to me, $1, $5, $10, or whatever you can afford I’m sure Karma will pay it forward for you. Thank you for reading this and if you can’t help monetarily I understand but could you pass a link to this post around your social networks for me?
Like many real-world concepts, solicitation now has its counterpart online in the form of cyber begging. Cyber begging is a form of solicitation which is done with the use of the internet. Like beggars or solicitors on the street, cyber beggars have their own space online. Individuals or groups use cyber begging to seek financial aid from complete strangers online.

Desperate, computer-savvy individuals engage in cyber begging in order to meet their financial needs like additional food, child care, mortgage and credit assistance or medical expenses, the latter being the most convincing. Groups or organizations also engage in this activity to fund their causes or forward the funds to their supported charitable institutions.

Altruistic individuals and philanthropists are targets for cyber-begging. Online solicitors need to have convincing websites or blogs with letters of appeal and graphic or tragic images to convince people to give or donate. Many individuals are desperate and come with sincere requests and there are some with requests that seem mundane to the ordinary person. Convincing letters of appeal however get through to philanthropists and naturally kind-hearted persons.

People engaged in philanthropy can now visit websites that are dedicated to cyber begging where individuals seeking help can freely post their dilemmas without any expense. Cyber beggars won’t need to use their own computers and use their own electricity to host their web pages nor would they need to pay hosting fees, all they would need is a bank account or a Paypal account to receive their support.

Through these websites, philanthropists can easily support actual persons who deserve the most help or persons in their target niche like single parents with many kids or people with desperate medical expenses. Philanthropists can donate through the site or directly contact the individual.
